The 14-year-old saw an aluminum can on the street, right where the bus was going to pass. To avoid being run over, he picked it up.

– There was no garbage. She threw it into some bushes, says the mother.

The driver must have thought the girl was littering. He left his seat and climbed into the back of the bus to show her.

“I’m going to spit in your face

– He said “I’ll spit in your face.” At first she didn’t understand what he meant, then she was scared and very shocked, says Camilla Bollesparr.

– How can an adult treat a child like this? Who has the right to address my child in this way?

The driver went on to tell the 14-year-old that he had seen what she was doing and said something about “people like you.”

– Luckily, one of the friends recorded what he said, says Camilla Bollesparr.

Claimed to the transport company

The next day he complained to Hallandstrafiken. The carrier spoke to the driver, who assured him that he had only spoken in the usual way.

Camilla Bollesparr later made a police report, but withdrew after a few days. The motivation:

The notified procedure does not constitute an unlawful threat. The statement does not amount to criminal harassment ”.

Only when Camilla turned to Hallandsposten, who was the first to write about the incident, did she get any kind of reaction from the trucking company.

“Take a mighty distance”

– We hear words in the film that he will spit at you, Hallandstrafiken’s press and information manager Peter Gyllander tells the newspaper.

– He doesn’t say he did it but he does speak the words and those words are of course completely unacceptable. We strongly dissociate ourselves from what the driver has expressed in the movie we have seen, he says.

The bus company has had “serious conversations” with the driver, it is said. Then it was “presented in a very clear way that should not be repeated.”
