WWDC launches June 22

This year WWDC will be slightly different due to the current situation and the digital conference will begin on June 22.

In the past, the press and developers have flown country and kingdom to see new versions of the entire Apple operating system, but this year it will be a digital show. WWDC (World Developer Conference) will follow in the Apple Developer app and on the Apple developer page. It is completely free for all developers and of course there will also be new versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS that we will see the common mortals.

If we are lucky, we may even see some hardware (AirTags are watching you). Whatever happens, you will have to enter and enter the calendar on June 22, because hopefully there will be many new and interesting functions to rest. In its press release, Apple writes:

“WWDC20 will be the largest conference to date and provides an exceptional opportunity for our 23 million developers worldwide to gain insight into the future of Apple platforms for one week in June,” said Phil Schiller, vice president of Apple global marketing. “We can’t wait to bring the global developer corps together in June and tell you about all the new tools we have that will help you create even more amazing applications and services. We will share all the information about WWDC20 as we get closer to this exciting event. “
