A doctor in southern Sweden runs the risk of losing his medical credentials after being notified by various regions, writes Blekinge Läns Tidning.

According to the Health and Care Inspection (Ivo), the doctor has failed twelve times in his professional practice and has demonstrated a great incapacity in his professional practice and, therefore, must be deprived of his credentials.

Among other things, it is about patients not being referred to the correct exam or not being followed up as they should. The physician should also have used a method of treatment “that does not support general recommendations.”

The Health Care Responsibility Committee (HSAN) will now decide if the doctor can retain your credentials. If HSAN conducts a different evaluation than Ivo, the subsequent three-year trial period suggests to the physician.
