The gang behind American “The Office” has been tinkering with a Netflix budget for its new comedy series.

Netflix finally released its first trailer for the upcoming television series “Space Force,” which reunites Steve Carell with “The Office” creator Greg Daniels again. Having created one of the world’s most popular comedies (certainly based on the original Ricky Gervai series), hopes for the new series have been high.

The action will follow Carell in the role of general with responsibility for the new part of the army, which will conquer space, first establishing a base on the moon.

According to Deadline, Carell also revealed that the series was created in a slightly different way. Netflix asked if he wanted to do a television series called “Space Force” (after Donald Trump named a new part of his army), the streaming giant simply liked the name of a series, but had no more tone than that. Carell should have said “Yes, why not?” And then he called Greg Daniels (creator of “The Office”) and asked the same thing … and the following trailer is simply the result.

In addition to starring in Steve Carell, we’ll also see John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow, and Don Lake in front of the camera. The entire first season will launch on May 29.
