Those who remember November 2019 may remember that Apple replaced the 15-inch version of the MacBook Pro with a new 16-inch one. The computer also has a much better keyboard, with so-called “sax keys” that are better for typing. And probably more durable.
Six months later, it is now the 13-inch turn to get the Magic Keyboard, which Apple prefers to call the keyboard.
The computer, on the other hand, has not received, as many had predicted, any 14-inch display, but it retains the 13.3-inch Retina display.
What’s new, however, is basically everything else. The MacBook Pro can be configured with up to 32GB of memory (faster at 3733MHz) and 4TB of SSD storage. It can also be equipped with 10th generation Intel processors, up to 4.1GHz and quad-core i7 processor, as well as a better Intel Iris Plus Graphics graphics card. It supports 6K display with, for example, Pro Display XDR and has up to 80 percent higher graphics performance. According to Apple’s own tests.
Beneath the well-known Retina display we find Apple’s Touch Bar and Touch ID, a physical escape button, and relocated arrow keys. Pages have a total of four Thunderbolt / USB-C ports on the best specified models (the cheapest ones have only two ports).

We recognize the screen. It has a resolution of 2560 x 1600, giving 227 dots per inch. It has up to 500 nits of brightness and supports both the P3 color space and Apple’s True Tone color. You can connect an external display with 5K resolution, or two 4K displays, but note that you must use the i7 processor model with Intel Iris Plus to use an external 6K display.
