Difficult negotiations to ease Finland’s restrictions

Discussions between the government and parliamentary parties began on Sunday, lasted well into the night, and resumed on Monday morning.

There seemed to be no quick deal in sight then.

However, Svenska Yle lists some of the areas that the government is currently discussing.

These include opening schools and upper secondary schools, opening public spaces such as libraries, allowing ten people to meet, traveling freely across national borders, making recommendations not to travel within the country, when cafeterias and restaurants can be reopened, and when people can be sure to meet their older relatives again.
