Parking the home means residents pay a lesser amount per day to park at specific locations. In Old Limhamn, home parking began to take effect in December. Next year, it’s time for Kirseberg and Rostorp, followed by Fridhem, Västervång and Mellanheden. However, there are no such plans for Gamla Rosengård.
“They have not given us any assignment or indications that make us want to raise the issue to make decisions,” Malin Melin, administrator of the street office, told the newspaper.

– I guess the problem is the same in Gamla Rosengård as in Rostorp: people who live nearby and want to park for free. But it is clear that we should look at Gamla Rosengård if they can also get parking for homes, says the municipal council Andreas Schönström (S).
However, he notes that this is a year of waiting time for ticket vending machines and, in part, that it will probably take a year for politicians to take a closer look at the area.
