Will the crown crisis end billions of transitions and cut monstrous wages in top international soccer? Maybe.
Jaume Roures, CEO of Spanish media company Mediapro, has said that the time for billions of dollars to transfer sums has ended, largely because the sums are related to television money.

And that might not be so stupid, says the Swedish Confederation Janne Andersson.

– But we are not yet in Sweden. I sat in finance myself like Halmstad for many years and I know this time of year is the heaviest before games start. Liquidity is not particularly high during this period. There is certainly a concern, not just for HBK. With many Swedish clubs living on fairly small margins, this is clearly hitting hard.
In Sweden he is also, above all, concerned about how powerful sports will cope with the crisis.
– That people can keep up with this, the only thing we have in Sweden with the life of association. Get help and support along the way, all the smaller clubs and all the non-profit organizations that work, because it is a vital element that we have in Sweden in my way of seeing it, he says.
“It will not be enough”
The sport is promised $ 500 million in government support, money to be distributed first in the middle of the summer. The National Sports Federation (RF) has made it clear that it will not be enough to cover all the losses that come with the crown crisis.
– This money will not be enough, of course not. But that is a very good contribution. If this continues this fall, we should go back to it, said Björn Eriksson, president of RF, earlier.
RF and the government have announced that children’s and youth sports will be prioritized when money is distributed.
