Train traffic returns to normal after a cable fire north of Stockholm Södra caused a major blackout. The result was that trains could not be driven through central Stockholm. Arlanda Express was also affected, as was the traffic between Stockholm and Uppsala.

– You have now managed to temporarily repair this damage and can therefore rerun trains on the route. The damage will be permanently repaired at a later date, as traffic is not affected, says Sara Lindström, a press spokeswoman for the Swedish Transport Administration.

Basically, train traffic runs as it should, with occasional delays on some trains according to SJ.

A signal error at Älvsjö on Friday afternoon contributed to further delays in commuter train traffic. Even that bug is resolved and commuter trains run according to schedule, according to local Stockholm traffic.
