Linus Arnesson, Lucas Ekeståhl Jonsson, Albert Johansson and Jens Westin were already four clear plays on the back of Färjestad for the next SHL season.
The deadline for a KHL move was set for the end of the month for major duo Jonathon Blum and Sebastian Erixon.
Midnight, in other words.
Jonathon Blum stays in Färjestad
Jonathon Blum was the first to leave a message of joy to Färjestad management and fans.
– I really want to see my family and I will return to Karlstad next season. Choosing to return was an easy decision, the 31-year-old American, who scored 33 impressive points during his debut season in SHL, told Värmlands Folkblad.
Sebastian Erixon wanted in the final. Thinking of a KHL adventure.
“There is interest, so it is still relevant, but as it seems now, I have not fully decided what I am willing to sacrifice to escape,” Sebastian Erixon told VF with just a few hours to midnight.
– I’ve been thinking for a while. The heart says Färjestad, the wallet says Russia. But you should be honest and say that instinct leans toward arrest as it weighs more.
Sebastian Erixon stays in Färjestad
Shortly after 23, the 30-year-old finally decided.
It will be a sixth season at Färjestad.
And a sixth puzzle piece added to the FBK administration bottom line.
According to VF, Vojtech Mozik appears to be the seventh. The Czech can still use his KHL clause but hopes to stay in Karlstad.
