The UK has the lowest number of covid deaths since September.
At the same time, more than five million Britons have received their second dose of the vaccine and the country is preparing to take the next step in reopening society.
– We have reached a milestone, says the country’s prime minister, Boris Johnson.
While several countries in Europe are lagging behind in their vaccination plans, vaccination is on the right track in the UK.
On Saturday, ten new covid-related deaths were recorded in the UK.
This is the lowest figure in the country since September 14.
On Saturday it was also recorded that five million Britons received their second dose of the vaccine. The country’s prime minister, Boris Johnson, is very satisfied with the work done so far.
“We have reached a new milestone in our vaccination program, with more than five million people now receiving their second dose of vaccine,” he told The Guardian, adding:
– I urge everyone to take their second dose as soon as it is offered.
The country’s health minister, Matt Hancock, agrees with Johnson.
– The vaccine is safe and effective. Make sure to take your dose as soon as it is your turn, he says.

Then the pubs open again
The country has been badly affected by the pandemic and more than 127,000 people have died from covid.
Now they are approaching a bright spot. More than 31 million people received their first dose of the vaccine in the UK, and on Saturday more than 5 million people received their second dose.
Currently, all people over 50 years of age and employees of the health sector have the opportunity to be vaccinated in the country.
The announcement of the vaccine comes at a time when the UK plans to ease its restrictions further. On April 12, gyms and stores are allowed to reopen.
If it is possible to keep the business outdoors, the country’s beloved pubs can also start their outdoor cafes again. Hair salons may also open, if they can have their business outdoors.
However, the distance requirement will still apply and only table service is allowed.
Weddings, receptions and ceremonies are also allowed, with a maximum number of 15 people.
