The 18-year-old who was found dead in Höör on Wednesday was honored. Police suspect the woman has been murdered.
– I can’t accept that it happened, says her 20-year-old friend Alice Resic.
The tires smoke when the Volvo skids across the parking lot. Faster and faster, the wheels spin with a deafening roar. Alongside him, pop music flows from a well-built epa tractor. This is a tribute to the 18-year-old woman suspected of being murdered in Höör.
– He loved cars and music. She used to go to car meetings. That’s why they do it, says Alice Resic, a friend of the woman.

A calmer tribute is taking place a few hundred meters from the shore to Tjurasjö. There, the mourners lit candles, placed flowers and greeted the woman. They are predominantly youth and young adults in groups. Someone cries and receives a hug. Others remain silent and stare blankly in front of them.
– We’ve been looking all night. Everyone has wanted to help. I slept barely an hour. I can’t take it in, says Alice Resic.

Wanted in the woods
She became very concerned when they couldn’t locate her friend Tuesday night. Then she and several others in Höör decided to do everything they could to find her.
– I walked through the forest and picked up rocks and branches. When the news came that she was dead, she felt horrible. As if you were sniffing something, says a girl who wants to remain anonymous.
According to information from Aftonbladet, the 18-year-old woman had been with a friend late Monday night before disappearing. On Wednesday morning, the police suspected that she may have been killed.
– I really can’t understand what happened. I try to hide it from myself, says Elois, a friend of the woman.
She describes her as happy, playful, and loving. But also with a twinkle in the eye.
– He often made a joke to brighten the mood.
A 25-year-old man was arrested and detained Wednesday on probable cause on suspicion of murder. Three places were blocked in Höör. Among other things, property of the suspect.
“See it every day”
Residents of the area describe the suspect as silent.
– I have lived here for 40 years. I see it almost every day, says one of the neighbors.
Police technicians examined the ground outside the man’s home and set up a tent to collect the findings.
The man’s friends are very surprised that he is suspected of a serious violent crime.
– He’s too nice to do something like that, says a woman.
On Wednesday evening, the police continued their technical investigation of the cordoned off sites in Höör. Press spokesman Ewa-Gun Westford is silent on the details of the case.
– The woman was found in one of the cordoned off areas. It is systematic work that has led to this, he says.
The detainee has not been punished before.
