The opposition politician’s health is “stable and satisfactory,” according to information from the Russian news agency Interfax.
Navalny’s lawyer, Olga Michailova, warned Wednesday that her client was suffering from severe back pain and that she lost feeling in her leg this week. Olga Mikhailova also stated that she was not allowed to visit Navalny in the concentration camp on the outskirts of Moscow, where she is serving her prison sentence.
At the same time, Navalny’s wife, Julia Navalnaya, is said to have left Russia to visit Germany.
In that case, it would be the second time so far this year that he has traveled to Germany. Her first visit took place in connection with the confirmation of the verdict against her husband in February.
According to German media, Julia Navalnaja’s stay in the country is private.
