A woman was seen hanging from the railing of a third-floor balcony in the center of Landskrona and witnesses raised the alarm to the police. Two men were arrested and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, but now the prosecutor has closed the investigation due to lack of evidence, says SVT Helsingborg.
It was Sunday when the alarm about the woman came. When the police arrived, two passers-by had entered the apartment and helped the woman. The apartment also housed the two men in their 20s and 30s, who were later arrested.
All three involved were heard on Monday. According to court prosecutor Kristoffer Nordström, it is not possible to prove that a crime was actually committed and that the men were released.
– There are witnesses who reinforce what the woman and the suspects said during interrogation, but there are also witnesses who perceived the incident differently. The general assessment remains that it is not possible to prove the crime, he tells SVT.
