Late on Sunday night, Hamsik arrived at Landvetter Airport, outside Gothenburg.
At the venue to welcome the 33-year-old Slovakian were a hundred Blåvitt supporters singing rhymes in the waiting room, IFK Gothenburg sporting director Pontus Farnerud and club director Håkan Mild.
