The murdered woman and man worked as personal assistants in Trollhättan for a person in need of 24-hour care and supervision. During the night of the alleged murder, the man was on duty, but not the woman. However, suspicions quickly turned towards her.
It was early the morning of September 4 last year when a colleague of the deceased found him on the floor of the patient’s home. It was also discovered that the user’s wallet and phone were missing and that transactions had been made from their account. According to the police investigation For example, the suspected woman was filmed by a surveillance camera when she was withdrawing money from the user’s card, and on another occasion she deposited money into her own account shortly after the murder.
In addition, a few days after the murder, the police made a discovery at a recycling center that also targets the suspected woman.
– It is the shoes, socks and gloves of the suspect woman that are in the trash. There are also traces of blood from the murdered man on the objects. It will be absolutely crucial to the investigation, prosecutor Daniel Edsbagge told DN at the time of the indictment.

During the investigation, more criminal suspicions have been raised against the woman. Among other things, according to the indictment, he allegedly stole a safe with SEK 120,000 and then dumped it on a Skåne beach.
She is also suspected of fraud because she is said to have sold five cars for a few thousand crowns, without the knowledge of the actual owners.
The woman must also suffer from a gambling addiction, which is the basis for the crimes now suspected, according to the investigation by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
On Friday, the verdict will be announced in the Vänersborg District Court.
