Police learned of the accident at the Mark Township farm at 03.17 on Friday night.
Somehow, a man who worked on the farm got stuck in a machine.
– I don’t have many details about the accident itself, but he must have seriously injured his arm and suffered a severe bone fracture, says Peter Adlersson.
When the accident occurred in connection with work being done on the farm, the police drew up a report of a work accident.
Tommy Lieback is an internal commander of the Södra Älvsborg Rescue Services Association who was at the farm site last night.
He says the role of the rescue service in the operation was to get good lighting and help when the helicopter from the ambulance landed.
– We do not work with the patient we knew was loose when we left. We also help with heating during operation, we have blankets and gas burners and the like, says Tommy Lieback.
In addition to the wounded man having serious injuries to one arm, the police do not know the situation of his injury.
