The total number of newly registered caravans is, after the end of February, at last year’s level; there is only one caravan difference. However, you cannot expect to see a clear trend for the entire year until after the Easter deliveries have been completed.
Regarding motorhome registrations, the reported figures are extremely misleading. The reason has changed (read: stricter) exhaust gas purification requirements, leading many companies to register cars that have not yet been sold to customers.
Caravan registrations for February 2021
During the month of February 2021, 110 caravans were registered. (In the month corresponding to the previous year, 102 were registered). So far in 2021, this means 164 registered caravans compared to 163 in the same period in 2020. In percentage terms, this means an increase of 0.61%.
Motorhome registrations for February 2021
Motorhome registrations for February show 207, while in February last year 85 motorhomes were registered. So far in calendar year 2021, a total of 285 motorhomes have been registered, while 131 have been registered during the corresponding period in 2020. In percentage terms, this means an increase of 117.56% for 2020.
