Kosovar Asllani, 31, joined the national team’s camp in Malta later than the rest of the team. Following his three goals against Valencia just over two weeks ago, the Real Madrid star suffered a broken nose and a concussion.

He started the camp training next door, but the last two training sessions he has been able to run completely with the rest of the team.

– It’s been almost two weeks since the beating. It is a real hit and the concussion has been treated with care. We follow the stairs that the club started and we have tried to continue on the same path, says Mats Börjesson.

Over the weekend, Asllani trained with face protection after the broken nose.

The team doctor says The hours after training on Monday will determine whether Asllani is medically ready to play Tuesday’s game against Malta.

– You should never believe, but chances are high that it feels good. Whether it’s enough or how long it will be is another question, says Börjesson.

However, 27-year-old Fridolina Rolfö can be standing. The two-goal shooter in the 6-1 win over Austria was hit on the tailbone and has been unable to train properly since.

– He’s much better, but he’s in so much pain that he can’t fully train and won’t play tomorrow. On the other hand, there is no danger, but it will be good, but it will only take a few more days, says Börjesson.
