Romelu Lukaku invited to a show.

The forward was behind all the goals in the 3-1 win against Lazio.

Inter thus takes the league leadership of Milan.

The big winner this weekend in Serie A is Inter.

Milan’s shocking loss to Spezia yesterday meant that the local Blue and White rival could move up the league lead with a win over Lazio.

So it was, thanks in large part to Romelu Lukaku.

Lie behind everything

The Belgian scored 1-0 on penalties midway through the first half and extended the lead just before the break.

Gonzalo Escalante cut the lead in the 61st minute, but Inter, and Lukaku, responded immediately.

Just three minutes later, the attacking midfielder made a very strong run down the right wing before serving his teammate Lautaro Martínez an open goal for 3-1.

Withdrew from Zlatan

Lukaku was substituted in extra time and was rewarded with a warm hug from coach Antonio Conte.

The two goals also mean he leaves Zlatan Ibrahimovic behind in the shooting league.

Milan’s attackers had scored 14 goals each before the match. Lukaku now shares the shooting league lead with Cristiano Ronaldo with 16 goals.
