Vice President Mike Pence and his family fled Donald Trump supporters on Capitol Hill at the last minute.

Two minutes before the dramatic escape, the president continued to shoot him on Twitter.

“The mob was looking for Pence because of his patriotism,” Stacey Plaskett said during the trial.

On Wednesday, Democrats walked step-by-step through the dramatic minutes before and during the assault on the Capitol on January 6.

His petition will attempt to link the former president to the chaos and unrest and show how his words caused the mob to strike when the election result had to be verified and certified.

For Donald Trump to be convicted in the Supreme Court, at least 17 Republicans are required to switch sides and vote with the Democrats. One strategy for success seems to be to show the danger that Republican members of Congress loomed during chaotic hours.

New images show the exhaust

And perhaps most importantly, getting them to turn to Donald Trump, how little the former president seemed to care about his safety.

On Wednesday night, unpublished surveillance footage was shown from when Vice President Mike Pence and his family fled the building and were taken away by Secret Service agents.

It was 2:26 pm local time when the decision was made to evacuate the vice president from the small room near the house where he was being guarded. He was led through the corridors of the Senate building to

Just two minutes earlier, Donald Trump angrily tweeted that Mike Pence disagreed with him and stopped the election result during verification.

“Mike Pence did not have the courage to do what would have been done to defend our country and our constitution, and give states the opportunity to certify the corrected results, not the fraudulent or erroneous ones that they were asked to certify.” America demands the truth, “Donald Trump tweeted at 2:24 pm

Every 30 meters from the mob

According to Stacey Plaskett, a Democratic member of the Virgin Islands who is one of the leaders in the Supreme Court indictment, the mob was at a point just 100 feet from the room where the Pence family hid.

Democrats believe the mob is willing to kill Mike Pence after Donald Trump’s words that he betrayed the country.

“They came at the urging of Donald Trump to prevent Congress from certifying the outcome of a presidential election,” Stacey Plaskett said.

Video and audio recordings Democrats showed in the House indicate that parts of the mob were trying to catch Mike Pence. At one point, people can be heard yelling “Hang Pence.”

– When Mike Pence was evacuated, the mob continued to spread across the Capitol. And the mob was looking for Vice President Mike Pence for his patriotism, because the vice president refused to do what the president demanded to stop the election result, Stacey Plaskett said.

According to previous reports in the New York Times and the Washington Post, Donald Trump was furious throughout the night over Mike Pence’s decision not to obey him. According to sources, he must have been angrier about the “betrayal” than the fact that Congress was stormed by a mob.

– All day it was the same theme: “I created that guy. “I saved him from a political death and now he’s hitting me on the back,” a source told the Washington Post.

Other dramatic images showed the crowd banging on windows and doors and spreading through the building.

58 steps from danger

Member Eric Swalwell, another of the Democratic leaders in the Supreme Court, declared during his speech to members of the Senate that the mafia was only 58 steps away from them. It showed previously unknown surveillance footage to illustrate just how close the danger really was.

“Those of you who were here that day remember that when you left the Chamber you were going through a corridor to safety,” Swalwell said, turning directly to the members.

– You know how close you were to the mob. Some of you, as I understand it, might hear them. But most of the public don’t know how close they were to you. I have highlighted what it was like when he moved down the hall. You were only 58 steps away.

Eric Swalwell also showed another surveillance film during his performance in which police are seen forming a chain to block the members’ escape route. Another video shows how close Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and his bodyguards came to the mob.

“They were a few feet from them and they had to turn around,” said Eric Swalwell.
