Donald Trump’s team received huge criticism following the introduction of the Supreme Court.
The former president is said to have been furious in front of the television over everything from the performance of the lawyers to the size of the suit.
Now the defense is changing its strategy and will talk less, claims CNN.
It was not a successful first day of the Supreme Court impeachment in the Senate for the former president’s defense team.
A screaming Donald Trump was unhappy with most things in front of the Mar-A-Lago TV, according to information in the US media.
The attorneys, primarily Bruce Castor, who was in charge of the introductory petition, were met with a fierce storm of criticism from leading Republicans. The criticism went from “a shaky start” to “completely lousy.”

But by promoting David Schoen, you end up in other problems. Schoen, who is a practicing Jew, has already announced that he cannot imagine working on the Sabbath. And then there is no one who can bring the defense action during Saturday’s Senate hearing.
An alternative could be a third member of Trump’s defense team, Michael van der Veen. But even there there is a catch. Van der Veen was involved in a lawsuit last year against Donald Trump, in which the then-president was accused of trying to stop voters from voting by mail.

He has also been very annoyed with Kevin McCarthy, the minority leader in the House of Representatives, who after the storm said that Trump “was responsible” for the riots before withdrawing him and going to Florida to make peace with the president.
According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump’s advisers, concerned about his tendency to self-sabotage, have tried to persuade him to remain silent during the trial. It is feared that he will say or do something that will reinforce the accusations against him or make Republicans more reluctant to acquit him.
According to sources in the newspaper, the former president is not expected to appear during the trial. But he has spoken to some of his most loyal supporters in the House of Representatives, including Matt Gaetz and Jim Jordan, and has asked them to appear on television on his behalf.
