The stars want to exclude Donald Trump from the union after the assault on the Capitol.
Now the former president has responded to President Gabrielle Carteris, known since “Beverly Hills 90210,” in a nasty letter.
“Who cares,” he writes, announcing his resignation.
Donald Trump received a letter today from Jamie Raskin, a member of the House Democrats and one of those responsible for the Supreme Court impeachment, with a request if he could consider testifying in the Senate during questioning.
The voluntary request he responded to no a few hours later.
Democrats in the Senate have a chance to call him to testify during the trial, which begins Tuesday of next week, but that seems unlikely.
The former president himself sent a letter on Thursday to the stars of the SAG-AFTRA union, which organizes actors, presenters, journalists and others who work in television, radio and film.

The union voted in mid-January to put Donald Trump, who has been a member since the 1990s, before its disciplinary committee after the assault on the Capitol on January 6, where a mob created chaos in Congress.
The former president has been brought before a national court on suspicion of inciting supporters who participated in the riots.
In addition to accusing him of the storm, the union wrote that he was responsible for a “ruthless disinformation campaign designed to discredit and ultimately endanger the safety of journalists, many of them SAG-AFTRA members.”
Now Donald Trump is responding to the union and its president Gabrielle Carteris in a letter announcing that he is leaving the organization.
“Mrs. Carteris, I am writing to you today on the occasion of the meeting of the so-called Discipline Committee in order to regain my union membership. Who cares! The letter begins.

Trump proud of roles
“Although I am not aware of his efforts, I am very proud of my efforts in movies like ‘Alone at Home 2’, ‘Zoolander’ and ‘Wall Street’ and TV series like ‘Fresh Prince in Bel Air’, ‘Saturday Night Live’” , and of course, one of the greatest hits in television history “The Apprentice.” Just to name a few, “writes Donald Trump.
“I have also helped a lot with cable TV news channels (which were considered a dying platform with little time before I got involved in politics) and created thousands of jobs on channels like MSDNC (an allusion to which MSNBC to be a megaphone for the Democrats, red note) and the fake news of CNN and many others ”, continues in the letter to Gabrielle Carteris.
The former president is not entirely satisfied with the way his former union is doing its job.
“Your organization does not do much for its members, and nothing for me, except raise rates and promote dangerous non-American proposals and ideas, as evidenced by its mass unemployment figures and the moods of acclaimed actors,” writes Donald Trump. from its luxury. Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
He concludes by writing that he is no longer a member of SAG-AFTRA: “You haven’t done anything for me.”
