A 45-year-old man is arrested for entering a bar in Kungsbacka with a running chainsaw.
– The guests fled through the back door and hid under a table, says prosecutor Sonja Seligmann.
The same man is also said to have climbed on a camel in a Turkish hotel and hit people with a stick, according to various media.
On Monday, the police were called to a bar in Kungsbacka after an alarm about a feared act of insanity.
It is said that a 45-year-old man entered with a chainsaw in full swing.
– The guests fled through the back door and hid under a table. The man then jumped into a waiting car and left the scene. He and a friend of the same age were arrested overnight and arrested, prosecutor Sonja Seligmann told Aftonbladet.

No one was injured in the attack. The man has now been arrested on suspicion of manifestly illegal threats against a group. The threat must have been directed at the group, not at a specific person.
– He denies the crime, but has not said anything else in the interrogations. I guess the reason is that he must have been angry because his friend, the driver, had previously been kicked out of the bar, says Sonja Seligmann.
The alleged accomplice has been released.
– The suspicions against him have not been ruled out, but they have not been verified, he says.
Ride a camel in a Turkish hotel
The alleged chainsaw will also be the subject of another bizarre police investigation: in Turkey, Göteborgs-Posten and Kungsbacka-Posten report. In the summer of 2019, the man from Frillesås will have been on vacation in Alanya.

The staff eventually managed to subdue the man with the help of tear gas and the man fell off the camel and fell to the ground. The entire incident was captured by the hotel’s surveillance camera.
The man has been charged in a Turkish court on suspicion of vandalism, insults and minor damages. He himself claims that he was attacked and beaten by several people.
