Hawley, who likes to criticize the elite on the East Coast, lives in Virginia and uses his sister’s address to have a connection to Missouri. A former Yale classmate told the newspaper that during his studies the senator “seemed decent, kind and caring,” but now like a “smoking mess from the complaint.”
“I don’t understand that with his upbringing he can spread such lies,” says his principal at the high school.

But Josh Hawley probably hopes that all Donald Trump supporters in the MAGA movement desperately want him. He is considered at the forefront of politicians who can assume the mantle of the former president in the 2024 election campaign.
Increased support among Republicans
Most pollsters expect him to run for election, at least unless Trump survives the Supreme Court decision and decides to run for a new term.
