A powerful explosion was heard in the area between Husby and Kista at 10:15 PM on Sunday.
The police confirm that there has been some kind of explosion in the residential building.
– There has been some kind of explosion and we are at the scene together with the rescue service. We are in your place right now. As far as I know, no one has been known to have been injured so far in any case, says Pontus Sandulf.
A hand grenade may be behind the detonation.
Police and rescue services are with a large force at an address in Kista in a residential building.
Pontus Sandulf says there is material damage to the property. It could be a grenade attack.
– It is an alternative but we have not yet determined it. Something has detonated, but what can we not say at the moment, says Pontus Sandulf.
The resident Expressen spoke to is very upset.
– The whole house shook. Like when the bombs exploded here last year, says a resident who raised the alarm.
“I called 112 and they told me their name was”
– I called 112 and they told me they were called and that the rescue service and the police were on their way. They said the explosion took place near where I live. Now many sirens are heard.
The police cooperate with the rescue service at the scene.
– We received an alarm for a detonation, we are at the scene but it is the police who are handling the case, says Jonas Wahlstrand, administrative operator of the rescue service.
