The Swedish Transport Administration has reported that trees have fallen on several roads. Snow also stops train traffic between Karlshamn and Kristianstad.

In the municipality of Kristianstad, some 500 people were left without power at 9:30 p.m.
On Monday evening and Tuesday, mainly Västernorrland, Västerbotten and Jämtland were affected by heavy snowfall and thousands of people were without power. By Wednesday night, about 750 homes were still without power.
– We have a maximum of people, about a hundred people, says Lena Berglund, regional manager of Eon.
Despite the great effort, it will be a while before all those affected regain power.
– Some will regain energy during the day, but I’m afraid there are those who have to wait until the weekend.
Train traffic between Umeå and Sundsvall was canceled by the Swedish Transport Administration starting at 8pm on Monday and was expected to reopen on Wednesday evening.
