New pandemic law: Skåne municipalities can introduce their own restrictions

With the law against the pandemic, not only the government can close public places. Municipalities and authorities have the same right.
The city of Malmö gets the right to depopulate Ribersborgsstranden, Lund can ban Walpurgis parties in Stadsparken, Helsingborg student broadcasts in Kärnan. The County Administrative Board may close shopping centers and public transportation.

The new pandemic law enters into force Sunday and has been described as a way for the government to limit congestion in public transportation, shopping malls and stores. But the law also gives municipalities, county administrative boards, and other state authorities the right to impose specific restrictions.
