Mark, a 40-year-old man in black who does not want to give his last name, will not accept Joe Biden being sworn in as president.
– It would mean that the United States moves against communism and that our culture and our society are destroyed. We will continue to view Trump as our president, he said shortly before the Trump movie was posted on Twitter.
Mark is skeptical of journalists, as Trump calls the press “enemies of the people” and says he and “50 other patriots” drove the media out of the congressional area in connection with the assault on the Capitol on Wednesday.
– Now we are Trump’s army, says Mark, continuing:
– Armies have the ability to use force and we are prepared to do so. More and more people are willing to do it.
Blame Antifa
By Thursday night, lines of Trump supporters at the convention center had been thin. A woman was walking in circles by the dam at the Lincoln Memorial, shouting that it was left-wing Antifa extremists dressed as Trump supporters who stormed the Congress building Wednesday night. A common recurring message from Trump voters that the TT envoy is meeting in Washington DC.
While several prominent Republicans are now distancing themselves from Trump and blaming him for the Wednesday night riots, he remains popular with the party’s voter base. Trump himself has threatened to oppose Republican senators who did not try to stop the approval of Wednesday’s electoral votes.
New party
Karen Kennedy, a Trump supporter who came to Washington DC from Colorado to protest, is a longtime Republican who is now interested in a new party.
– Trump traveled across the country campaigning for Republican senators. Then they just turned their back on him. You need a “patriotic party” that looks after the interests of the people, says Karen Kennedy.
– This movement is not about Trump and will continue. We will continue to speak out and defend the constitution.
