He has sounded the alarm about shipwrecks, rocket attacks and serious traffic accidents – the man’s list of dramatic information for SOS Alarm is long in the prosecutor’s arrest request.
On many occasions, the police, ambulance and / or rescue service have made unnecessary calls. On one occasion, on November 2, eight radio cars, some 50 police officers and the national bomb squad arrived in Rosengård district after the man alerted of an impending bomb attack, according to the prosecutor.
The Skåne region requires the man to pay SEK 98,000 for unnecessary ambulance calls and SOS Alarm wants SEK 100,000, which the man’s activities are believed to cost the company.
The 37-year-old man is accused of aggravated sabotage with blue light and also of two cases of illegal threats, because on one occasion he claimed to have kidnapped the son of a police chief and demanded ten million kronor in ransom and on another occasion he claimed that two named policemen were captured and have pistols pointed at their heads.
The man denies the crime.
