RGB on the first gold: “Fun to show that they don’t forget you”
He fell from being number one in the world to squad B of the national team, but is now slowly but surely making his way back to the top. This summer, the former king of horsemanship proved that he still has to be reckoned with when he won the most prestigious Swedish championship in history.
– It was a lot of fun being able to come home and show that he is not completely forgotten, says Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.

There was excitement until the end when the Swedish Championship was decided on the large grass court in Falsterbo this summer. Favorite tipper Peder Fredricson, who a couple of years ago inherited the royal crown from Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, got a knockout in the final round. Thus, the gold was assured for Bengtsson, who despite his long career lacked a gold in the Swedish Championship.
