Police warn of lightning in Stockholm
Police warn of lightning strikes in Stockholm County after several traffic accidents occurred south of Stockholm on Saturday afternoon. The Swedish Transport Administration also warns of the risk of slipping on the E18 and E4 north of Stockholm.

Shortly after 4 PM, patrols were called to two different accidents in the southern part of the county, and they had trouble getting there due to road conditions on the well-traveled Highway 73, Nynäsvägen.
At around 5 PM, another accident occurred, heading south on Highway 73. There is no information on injuries in the accident. Police warn of very limited traffic and queues on the road.
No one was seriously injured in the first two accidents of the afternoon. In one case, one of the drivers left the crash site on foot and took up defense when spotted by a dog patrol.
– He also had an ax with him, the driver. So the dog helped detain the person, who is also suspected of being infected at the crash site, says Ola Österling.
