Rescue work after the Norwegian landslide is still ongoing, and police have not given up hope of finding survivors.
On New Year’s Day, one person was found dead in the landslides and nine people are still missing.
The Norwegian police have released the names of the missing.
Three of them are Bjørn-Ivar Grymyr Jansen, 40, and his pregnant wife, Charlot Grymyr Jansen, 31, and their two-year-old daughter Alma.
– We do not give up, at least not when the police chief says there may be survivors, his brother Hans Jørgen Jansen told Romerikes Blad.
Lisbeth and her son Marius are missing in Norway
Marius Brustad, 29, was visiting the home of his mother Lisbeth Neraas, 54, when the landslide occurred in Norway, according to Romerikes Blad.
Now the mother and the son are missing. A spokesperson for the family said in a statement:
– It is an indescribably painful and difficult situation that family and friends are living now after the landslide in Gjerdrum.
– We miss a very dear, loving and caring mother, sister and daughter, as well as an energetic, loving and much loved brother.
Expressen previously reported on Irene Ruud Gundersen, 69, who is missing after the landslide. His daughter wrote on Facebook:
“My parents’ house was taken over by the landslide. My sister and my father came out. They are slightly injured and are in the hospital, but my mother is missing. This is completely unreal. Crossing everything I have to find mom”.

Eirik Grønolen, 31 years old
Sambon and the dog escaped the landslide, but Eirik Grønolen is missing, reports NRK.
Irene Ruud Gundersen, 69 years old
“My parents’ house was taken over by the landslide. My sister and my father came out. They are slightly injured and are in the hospital, but my mother is not there. This is completely unreal. Crossing everything I have to find mom”Writes Irene Ruud’s daughter, Nina Christine Gundersen, on Facebook.

Charlot Grymyr Jansen, 31

Ann-Mari Olsen-Næristorp, 50 years old, disappeared along with the daughter Victoria Næristorp-Sørengen, 13 years old. Dad managed to get out of the house.
– I would have liked to change places with my daughter, says her father to VG.
He describes how they woke him up and that he ran after them down the stairs. When he was about to fall, he heard the whole house collapse. Then he thought that his wife and daughter had gone out.
– If they left, I hope it was quick.
Marius Brustad, 29 years old, disappeared along with his mother Lisbeth Neraas, 54 that he visited while on vacation according to Dagbladet.
Rasa Lasinskiene, 49 years old.
He rested the dog before going to work. She was on the phone with her husband when contact was broken, writes the local Norwegian newspaper Bergens Tidende.
