The stabbed man who was left in a Stockholm-area hospital on Friday night is said to have been attacked outdoors in Tensta, the police state.
The man arrived with stab wounds at a hospital in the Stockholm area on Friday night. It was hospital staff who alerted the police.
– We have spoken with the plaintiff and have located an outdoor crime scene in Tensta, Andreas Dahlin, police duty officer, tells TT just before 04 o’clock.
Subsequently, no suspect was arrested or detained.
The wounded man was taken and thrown to the hospital by someone or someone who later left the scene.
– We would like to get in touch with the people who transported the person to the hospital, said police spokesman Mats Eriksson overnight.
The man’s injuries are not life-threatening and the police have classified the crime as attempted murder.
Police first investigated whether the incident was related to a knife cut on a bus in Älvsjö earlier in the night, where a person was attacked and then disappeared from the scene, but this is not the case.
– This has nothing to do with it, says Andreas Dahlin.
