One of three people who were found shot in Tensta, northwest of Stockholm, on Tuesday night died, says police spokesman Towe Hägg.
– One of the three gunshot wounded has died and family members have been notified. As for other people’s damage situation, I currently have no other update.
The three shots are said to be men in their 20s. Currently, the police do not want to comment on a possible connection between the three, but are referring to further investigation of the case.
– We are now working to find out what happened. We will speak to as many people as possible and there will be a greater presence of law enforcement personnel in the area to be able to answer questions or receive advice, says Towe Hägg.
Following an alarm to the police, two people were found shot at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in downtown Tensta, and after another hour, the police reported that another person had been found shot in a home in Tensta.
A preliminary investigation has been launched into attempted homicide and aggravated weapons offenses. According to the police, no person is currently in custody.
