I was deep inside.
But in overtime he got loose.
Marcus Rashford saved United from a new center at home.
– Probably not the most beautiful goal, says the hero of the match to the BBC.
Manchester United are the best away from home. But not so strong at home, according to statistics.
It was seen in tonight’s game against Wolverhampton. Out of a total of eleven finals, only three were on target. But three finals within goal frame were enough for United to win.
Finally, in the 94th minute, Marcus Rashford found the net behind Rui Patricio, saving United from another center at home.
– That is the decisive goal. It’s probably not the prettiest, but we have to accept it. We got three points and kept going, Rashford told the BBC after the game.
The party in general?
It was an uneventful event at Old Trafford. Wolverhampton was the team with the most dangerous chances. But a great David de Gea player kept United in the game.
United, without Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, who was replaced injured in the last game, undoubtedly scored a goal before Rashford’s salvation on “Fergie Time”. But Edinson Cavani’s goal was ruled out for offside.
Manchester United are now climbing to second place in the Premier League and are now just two points behind leader Liverpool.
