Zlatan opened for the return of the national team.
The league captain caught and boarded a flight to Milan.
– We’ve had some text contact since then, Janne Andersson tells DN.
The relationship between Janne Andersson and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, from the outside at least, has felt chilly.
Zlatan has previously criticized the captain of the Swedish national team for not eliminating players of foreign origin. A review in which Janne Andersson never acknowledged herself. Also an erroneous criticism in the background, according to the captain of the national team.
– I had players of immigrant origin. Zlatan has his opinion on things, everyone can have his opinions. He has never said racist. If he had done that, I wouldn’t have … Janne Andersson tells DN.
Took the flight to Milan
When Zlatan opened for a comeback in the national team after winning his twelfth Ballon d’Or, Janne Andersson sat on the first best plane to Milan. The conversation with Zlatan lasted a couple of hours. The details of the conversation that the league captain chooses to keep secret.
– Of course we were talking about things that have happened before. What Zlatan said was that he recognized himself when he arrived, he thought he was having a harder time because he had an immigrant background.
Janne Andersson tells DN that she respects Zlatan’s opinion but says that today is completely different. He believes that all are equally valuable and is against all punishment, harassment and racism.
“Has contact by SMS”
The visit to Milan resulted in Janne Andersson and Zlatan having an ongoing dialogue. Whether the 39-year-old will be included in the World Cup qualifying squad to be eliminated in March is up to the national team captain.
– We have had some text contact. Zlatan has been fantastic and what he does is hugely impressive. Especially for every year that passes, he soon turns 40.
