A COVID-19 sampling point in Laholm has been sabotaged twice in the past week, Hallandsposten reports.

The latest sabotage was discovered Monday morning when staff arrived at the shed in a parking lot.

– Someone had sabotaged the electricity. At about ten o’clock the problem was resolved, but those who had a sampling time between eight thirty and ten had to be canceled, Region Halland communications director Johanna Wiechel-Steier tells the newspaper.

The police have been informed of the sabotage. Wiechel-Steier tells the newspaper that the region must take steps to prevent future sabotage against the sampling point.

– I do not know exactly what measures can be taken, but we cannot have it like that, he says.
