At 3 pm on the second day, a fire broke out in a house in Kungsheden, Nora Township.
Four units from Nerike’s fire department fought in vain to overcome the flames.
“The house will not be saved”
– This is a fully developed fire. The house will not be recoverable, a press spokesperson for the Nerikes Fire Department told Nerikes Allehanda.
On Sunday, police confirmed that forensic technicians had found a body among the debris from the fire during Sunday’s investigation.
– A deceased person has been found inside the home. The person in question has yet to be identified, but a forensic autopsy will be performed on the person to establish both the identity and cause of death, says Christina Hallin, Bergslagspolisen press spokeswoman.
The police have no suspects at the moment
Police already launched a preliminary investigation Monday into an alleged arson.
– As it is now, we have no one suspected of this. The reason for the fire is unclear and investigation of the fire site will show if there are clear signs that it is arson, says Christina Hallin.
