Dennis Everberg showed the way and arranged a long-awaited victory for Rögle with his two goals. They finally defeated Leksand 3-1.

Rögle entered the away meeting with Leksand with two consecutive snobbish challenge losses in baggage. Against Leksand, Rögle opened hard. 3.30 in the first period, they took the lead through Dennis Everberg.

When Rögle spread early in the intermission period, it was again through Everberg who got a return and was able to lift the puck to 2-0.

In the middle of the second period, Leksand cut through Marek Hrivik. But Rögle shot back and extended when Adam Tambellini was fouled by Leksand and clearly sent it 3-1.

The third period continued at a somewhat tepid pace. One situation that stood out was when Leksand’s newest acquisition Carter Ashton, who made his first game in the Leksand jersey, came close to creating a truly dangerous situation by entering the frontcourt with several quick draws.

With four minutes remaining, Leksand chose the goalkeeper to try to chase down a reduction. Then, among others, Carter Ashton got into a dangerous situation. But Leksand failed to score despite playing the match outnumbered, so the match ended 1-3.

Rögle now retains his leadership in the league.

-We have two games before the break in which maybe we were a little mentally exhausted. Today it seems that the whole world is back to normal, says Dennis Everberg in C More

However, the worrying thing for Rögle was that Adam Edström, who at the beginning of the second period put the puck on his feet, was sitting in pain in the area. A few minutes later, television footage showed him getting help out of the locker room.
