Daniel Viksten and the rest of the successful chain behind it all towards Djurgården

Daniel Viksten was back in the lineup after going out against Örebro and then missed the match against Rögle.

Then it became an immediate hit.

Together with his chain mates Victor Ejdsell and Jacob Peterson, they were behind four goals.

“It’s always good to score points, but the most important thing is that we win,” says Jacob Peterson after the game.

We started from the beginning.

After seven minutes into the game, Färjestad took the lead thanks to Jacob Peterson, assisted by Viksten and Ejdsell.

Quickly in the second period, it was Adam Ginning who hung up with Viksten and Peterson on a game turn. He ended up being served a pass from the latter when he was completely free in front of the area and was able to outwit Svedberg.

Success in powerplay in the third

It was almost a whole time before Färjestad’s third goal came. Then it was Jacob Peterson who struck again, outnumbered.

Ejdsell found the pass for him, who was free in front of the goal and was able to lift a backhand, with an assist from Viksten as well.

Meanwhile, Djurgården responded quickly when Kalle Östman scored his second goal of the season with a cannon shot.

But the joy of the reduction was short for the guests.

Less than three minutes later, Dick Axelsson was sent off, and it took Victor Ejdsell only four seconds to find his way behind Svedberg and the score increased to 4-1.

In other words.

Jacob Peterson (2 + 2)

Daniel Viksten (0 + 3)

Victor Ejdsell (1 + 2)

– It feels good, it’s fun to play. It works well with the “line” I play with and it’s fun to come down the hall every morning, Jacob Peterson told C during the break.

Djurgården reduced again

There would be another downsizing, through Tom Wandell, who on his own took the kitchen route and surpassed Haukeland.

When Djurgården chased in the last minute with Niklas Svedberg on the bench, Carl Jakobsson managed to close the match in an open area.

Färjestad finally won 5-2.
