Journalist and host Kattis Ahlström, 54, is one of the season’s winter talkers. In his program, he shares a fond memory with the acclaimed actor Michael Nyqvist, who died in 2017.

It was 2005 and Kattis Ahlström took home a crystal as “Female Presenter of the Year”. At the same time, Michael Nyqvist brought home a crystal for the drama series “About Stig Petré’s Secret.” But the statuette of the host soared overnight.

– We were both so upset that Micke managed to step on my little finger when we danced, says Kattis Ahlström on the show.

“You never want to forget it,” says Kattis Ahlström in “Winter on P1”.

She says SVT’s “Lifeguard” participants, who also received a Crystal, had to come to the rescue.

“A little extra value”

– When the dance continued, the pretty crystal figure slipped from her fist and yes, it broke a little. But I see it as an extra value because I always think of Micke Nyqvist when I see him. And you never want to forget it, says Kattis Ahlström in “Winter in P1”.

Michael Nyqvist was one of the most beloved actors in the country. He passed away on June 27, 2017 in the cancer suites.

Kattis Ahlström’s winter program on P1 will be broadcast on December 25 at 13.00.
