The Novakovic family went to Kungsbackatorget on Wednesday to buy the latest for the Christmas table.
But Mario Novakovic, 30, hastily forgot to put in the parking disc.
– When we left the store, I saw a yellow note and thought “damn, I have a parking ticket,” says Mario, who was previously interviewed by SVT Halland.
But there was no parking ticket. Instead, he was pleasantly surprised when he saw the greeting from the parking attendants:
“Santa is kind. We know you are stressed today, buy Christmas presents for the money. Merry Christmas wishes to the parking guards in Kungsbacka Township ”.

– I was very happy and surprised of course. Never seen this before, it was very nice of the parking guards.
In addition to the good cure, Mario also received a new parking disc from the parking elves.
Is it common to receive a fine?
– Haha no, it probably only happened once. And then it has been a real cure.

Mario shared the incident on a local Facebook group. On Christmas Eve, the post reached thousands of Kungsbacka residents, and it is clear that there are more than Mario who appreciate the cute gesture of the parking guards.
“Wonderful sign of humanity, we need it, especially this year,” writes one person.

But instead of obeying “Santa’s” advice to buy a Christmas present for the money “saved”, Mario bought a roller coaster.
– I wanted to test my luck, but it didn’t work out so well. Instead, it could be something extra for our baby.
