Police are silent on the incident. In any case, it is clear that at 4:26 p.m. they received information that made them want to see how a person was doing, who must have been in the department store then.
– At the same time that customers leave the store, you have the opportunity to check if the person is there. And we haven’t found the person. Now the department stores are empty, now you have to go in and see if the person is hiding there or something similar, says Evelina Olsson, press spokeswoman for the police command center.
Police do not want to delve into details of the case, such as criminal suspicions.
– It is impossible to say what it lands on, says Evelina Olsson.
Just before 6 p.m., the police searched half of the department stores without finding the person.
– We have made the decision to check out more stores in the Väla area. But it’s not clear whether they should be closed, says Evelina Olsson.
