Bets on Tokyo in quarantine: “It will be over if I get covid-19”
This story is about the art of recharging.
About a slowly crumbling body and an immortal love of sport shooting.
Philip Jönsson made a name for himself in the world of para sports when he reached the final of the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Now the 26-year-old skydiver is aiming for the Tokyo 2021 Paralympic Games, but as he belongs to a risk group, the pandemic means a whole new everyday life:
– It is finite for me if I have covid-19. That’s how bad it is, says Philip.

For some, the pandemic is a shrug, for others it is the difference between life and death. Parade athlete Philip Jönsson has been in quarantine for ten months. He only meets with his family and his assistants on a regular basis.
