A couple of days ago, the police ended the search for the 17-year-old who disappeared in Ljungby on the night of December 5.
– There is a certain approach that we work with. We have searched every area that exists and therefore we are ending the organized search effort, says Robert Loeffel, spokesperson for the Southern Region.
Still investigating
Robert Loeffel notes, however, that the police are still actively working on the case, but in other ways.
– We are committed and we continue working with it. We work with investigative measures and specific initiatives.
An example of how the police work with specific operations is the search that was carried out with dogs in Tutaryd last Friday.
– You don’t make great search efforts, but if we get suggestions on something, we follow it, says Robert Loeffel.
Missing persons fortsätter leta
The voluntary organization Missing Persons will not end their search efforts.
– We will continue to apply. We’re looking for him to be found, says Ann-Louise Gustafsson, operations manager for Missing Persons.
