Sweden needed to win to have a chance to take home the Channel One Cup. But it was the Czech Republic, which lost the first two games, that was most alert.
Maybe it was because the game started at 11.00 in the morning. Because just like Finland, Sweden had a bad first period against the Czech Republic.
But they still led after the first 20 minutes.
The Czech Republic suffered four expulsions in the first period and during one of them Jonatan Berggren made it 1-0 with a return.

It was a better game for the Swedes in the second half, yet they still came off the ice after three goals on the back. Among other things after an own goal.

Sweden started the Moscow tournament with a penalty loss to Russia, but then beat Finland 4-1.
