Over the past 24 hours, another 1984 covid cases have been reported, and if you look at the average number of cases per day for a week, there have never been as many new cases as now. On average, 1,439 cases are now reported per day.
The dire situation means that Region Skåne will go into reinforcement mode from Monday. Regional Director Alf Jönsson has also decided to activate Skåne Region crisis management staff. According to the press release, this means:
“A special health management must coordinate the efforts of the region, cooperate with other actors and take measures to strengthen certain important functions ”.
Patients can move
Region Skåne also warns that patients may be transferred to hospitals other than where they seek care, due to heavy pressure.
– We take into account as much as possible the care and monitoring needs of patients during the transfer. When it is necessary to transfer patients from one hospital to another, the responsible doctor and the reception department carry out a medical evaluation so that the transport is carried out safely for the patient.
