The alarm was received by the police at 3:52 on Friday night. A man in his 35s has fallen under unclear circumstances from an apartment on the third floor of a residential building in the Norrby district of Borås.
How was the case will come to be investigated by the police and a preliminary investigation has been started under the title of attempted murder.
– There was another person in his place with this man. It is not known if it was an accident or if he received help to fall, or if it could be a suicide attempt, says Peter Adlersson, spokesman for the West Police Region.
The man was taken to Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg with serious injuries and his condition is said to be serious but stable.
A technical exam of the suspect crime scene will take place on Friday.
Police will also knock on doors in the area to collect any information from witnesses that may be relevant to the investigation.
