The man in his 60s has served as a board member in various courts since 2011. Since 2015, he has been involved in sentencing in primarily criminal cases in an appellate court. He is also elected to the Swedish Democrats in his home municipality with assignments on one of the municipality’s committees. Since 2011, he has served as a board member for 151 days, 12 times this year. During the fall, he has been involved in sentencing in various criminal cases, including aggravated battery and sex crimes.
In a post on Facebook in late November this year, the judge writes about a robbery that affected a grocery store in the city where he lives. He writes that “probably two leaves” are behind the robbery and that if he were there “it would have been at least one leaf less in our country.”
In another Facebook post, the juror writes “Dead Blattarna” followed by a symbol of a person vomiting.
One of his Facebook contacts replies “3006” which is a common ammunition caliber for, among other things, moose hunting.
“I agree with you xx but 375HH blows up the whole skull,” replies the judge, referring to another coarser ammunition also known as .375 Magnum which, according to the manufacturer, is often used to hunt buffalo and elephants in Africa.
According to his own Facebook page, the man is a dedicated hunter and poses for a photo with a gun and a dead moose.
When DN contacts the man on the phone, he confirms his service as a board member, but when asked about Facebook posts, the conversation is interrupted. A little over a day later, he finally responds to the text message.
“What I wrote was because my wife had been robbed that night. She works at our grocery store here. She was very upset when I got home from there. And it was an unborn man in Sweden who carried out the robbery. So probably can choose a better language in hindsight. “
The chairman of the Court of Appeal of the relevant Court of Appeal says after seeing screenshots of the posts that the court will now investigate the man.
– We are going to start an investigation and it is first of all to call you here to explain what this is for something, we must listen to your opinion and while that investigation is ongoing we will not hire you.
– Of course you can not say that, of course, says the president of the Court of Appeal.
The posts on Facebook are gone, and according to the President of the Court of Appeal, the posts may have been illegal.
– I perceive it as that it is not allowed to say so but it is not so easy to answer it immediately. It depends on how big this group is and if it has spread. But we must investigate it, of course.
The leader of the group of Sweden Democrats in the municipality tells Dagens Nyheter that he understands that the party comrade expressed himself the way he did in office.
– My comment is that I understand that he got very angry and upset, he wrote this in relation to a robbery at a store and it was his wife who worked in the store at that time, says the leader of the group.
– There is no doubt that it was an immigrant who was the criminal who committed this robbery and as I said, I think it is a very human reaction to react in that way when it affects a close relative.
The group leader says he has continued to trust the man.
– I can agree that it was probably phrased quite roughly, so only these expressions if you call someone blatte then you may not have to, but it’s not really that serious.
But write here that it will kill them, do you think that’s okay?
– No, I can agree that it is not okay, but I still understand that it can happen in a situation where someone close has affected.
The group’s leader says the party partner is likely to be sued for the charges, then criticizes anti-ethnic incitement legislation which he calls “anti-ethnic legislation.”
– Personally, I believe that this legislation “incites against ethnic groups”, it is a law that is used mainly against older people who comment on Facebook and other things. These are people who have been upset when they have been exposed to a crime or a crime when it affects someone close to them.
But in this case, is he saying he’s going to kill people?
– Yes, I can say this so it is an … unnecessary threat that occurred to him, but I see an explanation in the situation he was in then.
